Netis and our partners, already leveraging Digital Product Passport, seized the opportunity to donate and foster partnerships in the Dutch market during an auction in Amsterdam.
Netis, always ready to lend a hand for a good cause, recently teamed up with students from Nyenrode Business University to combat hunger within the Hunger Project.
Upon learning of the students’ plans for an auction to raise funds and awareness, Netis promptly contacted its network of business partners for support.
Integrating Digital Product Passport (DPP) into all donated items was our collaboration’s core. Our partners have already embraced this innovative tool, developed by Netis, in response to EU requirements. DPP enhances product traceability, with each item boasting a unique QR code linking consumers to essential information about its origin and production process, ensuring transparency and trust.
The highlight of our efforts was a successful auction held at an Amsterdam golf resort. However, the excitement didn’t stop there. Many companies from the business forum organized by the Slovenian Dutch Business Platform in Rotterdam also decided to join the auction, further fostering new connections and opportunities.
Among the contributors were esteemed small businesses representing diverse backgrounds. From Mimotho, a renowned Slovenian jewelry designer, to numerous distilleries crafting gin across the Karst, central, and Prekmurje regions, each infused their products with local ingredients and familial passion. Kmetija Kokolj committed to the circular economy by repurposing grape byproducts into various items, from oils to creams. Additionally, Noah Charney, a distinguished writer exploring Slovenian culture through his work, also made a significant contribution with his book, and Sonček – Cerebral Palsy Association of Slovenia, participated with a special Kekec Doll.

Their involvement emphasized Slovenia’s market strengths and technological innovation while highlighting the accessibility of such tools for companies of all sizes, ensuring meaningful, transparent, and reliable information for end-consumers.
Melita Gulja, a dedicated member of the Netis team, played an integral role in representing our partners and DPP to this new market, facilitating connections between Slovenian and Dutch companies, with strong support from Blockchain Europe Alliance, who assisted with the organization.
This initiative showcases the synergy of collaboration, innovation, and social responsibility. With our partners, we committed to supporting worthy causes while highlighting advanced technology like DPP. Transparent and purposeful, we raised funds, awareness, and forged valuable connections, laying the groundwork for a sustainable future.
Thanks to everyone involved! Let’s use our combined strengths to drive positive change and create a better future for communities worldwide.
