Netis participated in Rotterdam with the Slovenian delegation focused on enhancing business in sustainability, energy, and construction. We presented our Digital Product Passport (DPP) solution, developed to meet EU Green Deal standards with open standards and verifiable credentials.
From June 5th to 7th, Rotterdam hosted a Slovenian delegation organized by the Slovenian Dutch Business Platform (SDBP) in collaboration with SPIRIT Slovenia. The aim was to foster collaboration between Slovenian and Dutch companies in sustainability, energy, and construction sectors.
Netis participated in a business forum at Blue City on June 5th, engaging over 70 industry representatives from Slovenia and the Netherlands, presenting Digital Product Passport (DPP) solution within the theme of Sustainable Construction. The DPP, developed on our MyNextID platform, leverages verifiable credentials to provide transparent product data on sustainability metrics. This innovation aligns with EU Green Deal directives, offering companies a tool for compliance ahead of regulatory requirements.
An illustrative example is the implementation of DPP by Plastika Skaza, a Slovenian company specializing in recycled plastics. By integrating DPP into their Bokashi Organko product line, Plastika Skaza ensures consumers can access detailed product information via QR codes. This includes production methods, material usage, carbon footprint, and recycling instructions. We facilitated this integration with Skaza’s SAP system, automating data reporting to streamline compliance and prepare for future regulatory updates.
